Shift Your Life »

Shift your life not by shifting your goals but by shifting how you think about them.

I am watching my baby boy try to crawl. I put him on his belly and he looks around for something to want. Yep, he wants to want something. Then he either locks his eyes on some bright colored target and starts joyfully scooting or he gets sad and wants to be picked up….

All grown doing the same thing. You look around for something that you don’t have to want. Then you find it and you start scooting, i.e. growing, changing, learning, practicing, strengthening.

This is a human thing. We are always seeking problems, we want goals. The problem is that we make up a goal and then get sad that we haven’t reached it.

This is the secret that will shift your life…. Its not about the bright colored target its about the crawling. I know, I know, Its about the journey blah blah blah. Nope its not about the journey. Its about expanding what you are capable of. That is the only reason you want anything.

We have a powerful need to realize our own potential. Call it enlightenment or grace or inner peace, we want to know ourselves as limitless beings, totally one with god, capable of miracles because that is who we really are. So…. shift your life.

Shift your mind. Look at your current goals and feel your desire for things that you don’t have. Peel that desire back and allow yourself to feel the joy of expansion. The joy that comes from knowing you are growing and that you will not just get some new gadget, man or title but that you are getting yourself immediately. Just by reaching for your potential you shift your life.

Lovingly
